The decision point

Use the review when confidence needs evidence behind it.

The service starts from the free assessment, then tests the most important answers against the small evidence set you already use to govern the provider.

An MSSP renewal or commercial review is approaching.

Service reports show activity but do not answer assurance questions.

Detection coverage, tuning, escalation, or ownership is difficult to verify.

An incident or audit has exposed uncertainty about the managed service.

Delivery flow

A bounded review with a visible finish.

Meetings are booked with at least five UK business days' lead time after the intake and evidence set are complete. Capacity is limited to four reviews per month.

01

Complete the Reality Check

02

Agree the evidence set

Provide redacted documents through a customer-controlled, read-only link after scope is confirmed.

03

Run the 60-minute review

Work through the decision, material evidence gaps, provider questions, and accountable next actions.

04

Receive the action summary

Fictional Northstar Managed SOC report showing a Developing rating and an evidence-led score of 54 out of 100.

Start with real output

The score is the starting signal, not the conclusion.

The review uses your completed report to focus the meeting, then checks the material answers against the service description, one recent report, and the open action log.

Evidence handling

Your source files stay under your control.

Do not attach documents or paste secure links into the public contact form. After the scope is agreed, provide redacted evidence through a customer-controlled, read-only link. ServiceSignal does not copy the source files into D1 or R2. Access should be removed after the written summary and clarification window are complete.

Initial pilot

First five reviews at GBP 395.

The standard price is GBP 495 after the first five completed reviews. VAT is added only where applicable. A review is confirmed only after the evidence set, availability, written scope, and commercial terms are agreed.

Common questions

Before you enquire

What should I prepare before the review?

Complete the MSSP Reality Check and identify the current service description or statement of work, one recent service report, and the open action log. Redact information that is not needed for the decision.

How is evidence shared?

After the enquiry and written scope are agreed, you provide a customer-controlled, read-only link to the redacted evidence set. Do not send documents or secure links through the public contact form. ServiceSignal does not upload these files to D1 or R2.

Does the review replace an audit or independent assurance?

No. It is focused decision support based on the assessment and evidence made available. It is not an audit, certification, penetration test, legal opinion, or guarantee that the service is effective.

What happens after the first five pilot reviews?

The standard price becomes GBP 495 plus VAT if applicable. Delivery time and evidence volume will be reviewed after the fifth engagement before any later change to price or scope.
